The history of BMSvision traces back to the 1970s when it was part of the Belgian Barco Group when we installed our first production monitoring systems in the local Flemish textile mills. This marked the beginning of a successful journey towards becoming a global leader in MES solutions.

The story of BMSvision starts in the 70s as part of the Belgian Barco Group. Under the brand name Sycotex, Barco Automation installed its first production monitoring systems in the local Flemish textile mills in the mid-seventies, this being the start of a +40 years success path to become a global player in the field of MES-systems.
