Senior Delphi Engineer

• Together with your R&D colleagues you'll work at the heart of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), focusing on one of its smartest components: Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS).
• In this role, you'll build, improve, and future-proof our APS solution.
• You'll work hands-on on the planning module in Delphi, where you extend, maintain, and refactor existing functionality while developing new features driven by customer needs and our product roadmap.
• You'll design and implement smart scheduling logic and workflow algorithms, making sure planning remains robust, flexible, and performant.
• You'll also integrate the planboard with machine interfaces, ERP systems, and core MES modules, and collaborate closely with our backend services team by contributing to C#/.NET services.
• You'll use Azure DevOps to support our CI/CD processes, ensuring quality, stability, and continuous improvement.
• Together with R&D, QA, and the Product Owner, you'll continuously improve both architecture and usability.
• Along the way, you'll actively think along about improvements, including how AI-driven techniques can further enhance planning performance and intelligence.
• Basically, you turn complex production challenges into software that simply works!

Let's talk you

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics-ICT or you've gained equivalent knowledge through experience.
• You have strong experience with Delphi (Delphi 7 - Delphi 11).
• You're comfortable  working with C# and .NET.
• You enjoy analytical challenges and solving complex problems.
• You work well independently, but above all, you are a team player.
• You're curious, and eager to learn. You actively think along in architectural discussions and improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Windows systems and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) is required.
• You get bonus points if you have experience with ERP integrations, reporting or analytical tools, production planning, scheduling or industrial automation.
• A nice extra is knowledge of MES or manufacturing environments.
