Software Security Engineer

• Basically, we need you to be our bouncer: you'll protect our software applications and the client's data against unwanted guests.
• You will be focusing on all aspects of security, related to our cloud platform, edge devices at customers sites and internal network from implementing security policies/controls and threat protection to managing identity and access management.
• In this role you will be part of a larger worldwide team and you will work closely together with product owners and cloud architects to help build a secure and robust enterprise-grade cloud platform.

Let's talk you

• You obtained a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in cyber security or you possess equivalent working experience.
• You have in-depth expertise in cyber security related topics like threat modelling and DevSecOps and have worked with one or more security frameworks like OWASP SAMM, NIST 2, IEC62243, etc.
• You are able to work out solutions for complex security related issues.
• We will be impressed if you also have experience with technologies like .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL.
• Of course, if you have experience in other technical domains, we regard this all as plusses. So definitely mention these in your application!
• Above all, you need to be a team player as you will collaborate with multi-functional teams.
• You are a good communicator as you will sometimes have to explain complex security concepts to non-technical customers.
• You are proficient in either Dutch or English and ideally in one other international language.
